An eclectic mix of spicy condiments and herb ‘rubs’ designed to appeal to the adventurous but busy cook, or those who like to explore new tastes, the inspiration for this collection comes from people, places and flavours from around the world. The range is a perfect balance to the quintessential ‘Englishness’ of Kitchen Garden Preserves and its stylish, contemporary packaging contrasts nicely with the more traditional look of the preserves range. Following on from the success of our Old Spot Real Ale Chutney, Organic Wild Hare Real Ale Chutney
... we are delighted to announce that we now have something special for those who like to buy organic products. We have teamed up with Bath Ales, to bring you a deliciously fruity, malty, Organic Wild Hare Real Ale Chutney. Fantastic with strong cheeses, cold meats, pies, and rice dishes, we are offering it in two sizes, 190ml and 250ml.

Continuing on the alcoholic theme, we are also pleased to be using Weston's Organic Vintage Cider in our new Organic Cider Mustard. This is a wholegrain mustard, with plenty of kick, and is great as an accompaniment to cold ham, beef, pies or as an ingredient in sauces and dressings.

Lavender is all the rage as an ingredient these days, and we have created a wonderful Seville Orange Marmalade with Lavender. The lavender essence we use comes from Kent and the result is a marmalade which has a delicate, perfumed aroma, and is perfect served on hot buttered toast for relaxing breakfasts, or used as an ingredient in many traditional puddings.

To our range of dressings and flavoured vinegars, we have added a Blackberry Vinegar. Unlike many of the more commercial types of flavoured vinegars, we do not use concentrates or artificial flavourings, but steep whole blackberries in white wine vinegar overnight, and then strain to give a beautiful, dark purple liquid. This wonderfully fruity vinegar works well as the base for a salad dressing, can be used to enrich sauces and gravies, or can even be poured over fruit salad.

New arrivals for autumn 2006
Following repeated requests from many of our ‘organic’ customers, we are pleased to add two favourite dressings to our Organic Range. Tomato and Tarragon is fantastic drizzled over a salad of goat´s cheese and mixed leaves, or poured over hot roasted vegetables. Honey and Mustard, which is made using our own popular Wholegrain Mustard, is based on a traditional French Vinaigrette and is fantastic with green salads or added to warm new potatoes.
